“TrafficVille” is a metagame and a satire of Facebook, videogames, girlfriends, texting while driving, and teenage life in general. It was made by the Pingüinos Perdidos team during the 2010 Global Game Jam, meaning it was completed in less than two days.

The mini-game is started by pressing the Start button, and the car is controlled by with the arrow keys. You have 5 lives, which are lost by hitting other cars. Sometimes all the lives don’t appear, but you always start with five lives.
The chat game is played by typing in the word in the thought bubble within the chat screen. Spelling does count, and failure to spell it correctly or enter it in time results in a Game Over.
The goal of the game is to deceive the girl who is chatting with you into believing that you are paying attention, while playing the mini-game "TrafficVille" which is the real focus of all your attention. This is a self-portrait game, and my attempt to capture the essence of my life at 16.
